Prosna River Valley

The River which extends along the West border of the Gołuchów community is the ecological corridor, separated from the rest of the community area by the visible bank which sunspot high reach 20 m. It is a deluge area with rich natural values.  Prosna River Valley is the habitat for many birds species among all swallows and kingfishers. You can also meet wild ducks, storks and herons there. There are also the tracks of beavers presenceseen. The Valley is also a place where protected plants and valuable plants collection can occur. Inseparableelement of Prosna River Valley landscape is a meadows and fields chessboard as well as willow alleys and gorges.

Prosna River is a part of Amber Road joining Adriatic with Baltic See.

Canoe route runs through Prosna River. It starts in Bogusław and runs to NowaWieś village (Gizalki community). It is 25 km long. 

Prosna River Valley attracts not only canoe users but also fishers, ornithologists as well as painters and photographers.
